Accomodation in Galway
The most comfortable option of staying in Galway are the many beautiful B&Bs . When booking, make sure you choose a location in "Galway City" with some luck, you might just get a room with an ocean view! Most B&Bs are within walking distance, however, if you choose to stay, for example, in the Salthill area near the ocean, you can always get a Bus or Taxi to the venue (Taxis are comparatively inexpensive).

There are many breathtaking tours to take around Galway, you could take a day trip through the Burren and to theCliffs of Moher, or visit beautiful Connemara, the Aran Islands or simply go to the near-by village ofBarna for walks in the woods, by the ocean and some lovely sea food. We can recommend O'Neachtains for day trips to the Burren or Connemara. But there are many companies who will pick you up at 10 o'clock at the central bus station if you feel like a spontaneous day trip. Especially for the Aran islands booking of bus and ferry and/or B&B in advance is advisable!
