E. Shawn Qaissaunee, a Berklee College of Music Alumnus, has been in demand as a multi-instrumentalist and composer for nearly twenty years. He is sought out for his talents on guitar, bass, piano and both the rubab and dutar, instruments from his native Afghanistan. Shawn is known for his musical sensitivity, lyricism and spirited drive to create excitement among listeners and fellow musicians. He will be performing on Friday, September 9th at the opening reception of September Morning.
Photographer Alessandra Nicole was in lower Manhattan the morning of all mornings nearly ten years ago. A selection of the subsequent images she captured will be on exhibit for three weeks in September in Wilmington, Delaware as part of a very special commemorative event. They will be on display from Friday, September 9th until Friday, September 30th.
