New Here WELCOME TO BATESVILLE VINEYARD COMMUNITY CHURCH!
We are a community of people that gather to experience God and grow together into Christ.
Don't worry... no one is going to single you out or ask you to stand and give your name.
When you attend a Sunday Celebration, we invite you to grab a free cup of coffee, bring it into the auditorium and relax.
HERE ARE A FEW THINGS WE DO MOST WEEKENDS...
Sing - We usually sing some simple songs to God each Sunday. Feel free to sit or stand. The most important thing is that you connect with God.
Message - One of our pastors will give a 25-30 minute message about applying truths from the Bible to life's challenges.
Click here to listen to a recent message.
Announcements - Hear about a few upcoming events at the Vineyard and how you can get involved.
Prayer - Following the Sunday Celebration, people will be available to pray with you about any need you may have.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
We have designed our children's ministry to help your child feel cared for, build healthy friendships, and learn how much God loves him or her.
Vineyard Kids is a ministry offered for children from birth through fifth grade.
On the first Sunday of each month we celebrate Family Sunday and all children
over the age of 3 years join their families in the auditorium for worship and will experience a children's message.
WHEN & WHERE?
Batesville Vineyard meets at 10:00am on Sunday mornings at the corner of Main and Pearl in downtown Batesville. (MAP)

Mission Vision Values Mission, Vision, Values
Mission:
Growing together into Christ.
Ephesians 4: 11-16
Vision:
WE've all been there: down, humiliated; lost in some dark, depressing place; or ignored and isolated. We seek something to fill our broken hearts, something to remind us that life is worth living. We try our own answers, repeat the same old mistakes, and... well, life overwhelms us.
God has a plan. It's better than you think. Imagine being part of a community of people who are valued, and united for one another. We live simply. We love generously. We care deeply and speak kindly. We are riskt-takers and dare to take off our social and religious masks. We seek out truth and God's wisdom. We identify our God-given talents and use them to lift others out of that dark place. We encourage each other to greater feats of love. Our hearts become truly alive in service to others.
Daily, we encounter God's mercy and power. We love the poor, worship with passion, seek the lost, and experience authentic community. We serve, play, obey God, and live life together.
We are people united by wholehearted devotion to Jesus Christ. We are mesmerized by the idea that life is not about us; it is all about Him. We are fixed on His story and His heart for people. We link arms with anyone who tells the story of jesus.
We see the world through the eyes of Jesus. Our area will change because God sent us.
Values:
Outward Focus - We live missionally: Everything we do is designed to serve others as we "grow together into Christ." The reason we prepare people inside the church is to serve people outside the church. Outward focus is visible in warm welcomes, encouragement and support, sharing the story of Jesus in our lives, and especially in the missional living, that is, always being ready to serve.
Passionate Spirituality - We live under and out of the Holy Spirit. Our spirituality is visible in joyful living, worship, Bible study, and prayer; as well as enthusiastic service.
Loving Relationships - We do life together. We encourage one another, study together, eat together, and help each other to serve. We love one another. God loved us first; sp we love God first, and obey his command to "love one another." We share our struggles and victories. We forgive one another. We seek unity with one another; fully becoming the Body of Christ; and fully entering into transcendent communion with Jesus Christ and our Father. We are individuals - youth, children, women, and men - living together in families, groups, church, and community.
Equipping - We empower each person to follow God's call on his or her life.
We guide each person to identify his or her God-given talents.
We provide opportunities to learn about and practice our gifts.
We support the individuals as they take a chance, make mistakes and learn from mistakes.
We support one another with our presence, words, and involvement.
We support development of new and growing servant leaders.
In short, we are growing together in Christ.
