NIGEL CARBOON
VISUAL DIRECTION
Nourished by the essential ingredients of theatre, dance and anything pretty, I spent a few years wandering the globe and working in the film industry, where I moved from camera operating to editing, production, art and eventually wardrobe.
Somewhere in between harnessing centaurs and frocking amazons, my Saturn returned and I knew I had to photograph. I came home to Melbourne and have since completed a Bachelor of Arts in Photography at the renowned RMIT university. I am currently completing a Bachelor of Film Production at SAE Byron Bay.
Combining a passion for fashion with a new-found understanding of the 'language of light' has provided me with an answer to my calling.
My work speaks of someone who chases light, captures images and aims to deliver results to please the senses.
