Red Rock Resources, LLC is a family owned and operated business engaged in oil and gas operations and petroleum engineering primarily in the State of Oklahoma. Red Rock Resources was started in 1993 by Gene W. Allen in order to invest in oil and gas projects and provide consulting to the industry. Terry D. Allen joined the business in 1995 to assist in the growing company. Red Rock Resources, LLC began operating properties in the year 2000 and presently operates 13 wells. James D. Allen joined the partnership in 2004 as Vice President of Operations. A brief paragraph on the experience of the principle owners is presented below.
Gene W. Allen obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Petroleum from Oklahoma State University in 1958. Gene has worked in the oil and gas industry from 1958 to present representing 50 years experience. Gene has worked for large companies such as Cities Service, Mobil Oil and Kerr-McGee and smaller companies such as Harper Oil and American Exploration. During his career Gene has performed in a wide variety of areas of Engineering and Management with the majority of his experience in operations and drilling in Oklahoma and the Texas Gulf Coast.
Terry D. Allen obtained a degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma in 1982. Terry's 26 years of experience has been with Gulf Oil and Chevron (13 years) and Red Rock Resources (13 years). Terrys experience has primarily been in Engineering in Oklahoma, Mississippi and Texas.
James D. Allen obtained a degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma in 1984. Jim's 14 years of experience has been with Conoco (10 years) and Red Rock Resources (4 years). Jims experience has primarily been in Engineering in Oklahoma and Texas. Jim also spent 9 years as Engineering Manager at Zeiger Industries in Canton, Ohio. This business involved manufacturing in the plastic industry.
