1.We believe that God inspired the Biblical writers to write His timeless, inerrant, infallible revelations using their words. As the Holy Spirit speaks through the pages of sacred scripture, it is our only source of Christian doctrine and serves as a light so that we might not sin against God.
2.We believe in one, all powerful, all knowing, ever present, unchanging, unconditionally loving God that eternally exist in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
3.We believe that Jesus was both fully human and fully God. We believe He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed various miracles, was crucified and died in our place to provide full atonement for our sins, was resurrected three days after His death and ascended to the right hand of the Father where He intercedes for the saints, and in his personal return in glory and in power.
4.We believe that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and the full pardon of these sins is achieved by grace through faith alone. That the blood of Christ and the working of the Holy Spirit bring about this salvation. The process of salvation, or sanctification, continues in a believers life until perfection has come.
5.We believe that Jesus sent to us another Comforter, the Holy Spirit, who indwells all believers reminding them of the teachings of Christ, enabling them to live a godly life, and equips their for them ministry on Earth. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, the church exercises spiritual gifts until the day perfection arrives.
6.We believe that the believer will spend eternity with God; and the unbeliever will spend eternity separated from God.
7.We believe that the Church is made up of those called out by God from a sinful world and that there is spiritual unity between all believers, without regard to external differences, in Jesus Christ.
The mission of New Hope Christian Community Church is to reach to our community with the love of Christ, bring new believers into our fellowship, and develop believers into mature Christians so that they can accomplish their ministry in the world, all while worshiping our Savior.
