At NEYA our soccer program is open for kids age 3 and up.
Our goals at NEYA for all the children who play is to teach:
Safety: Safety is our number one priority at NEYA. Enforcing the rules from the start is the best way to ensure all kids are properly protected and kept safe.
The rules of the game: Learning the rules at a young age helps the kids learn the proper way to play the game of soccer.
Teamwork: We not only want individuals to get better we also want the kids to learn to play as a team.
Fun: We want to make sure all our kids at NEYA are having fun. The kids are our number one concern. Without the kids there is no NEYA. We understand this and make sure it is an emphasis in our soccer program.
Building Programs: We are striving to prepare the kids to play for local middle and high school soccer teams. We feel by keeping the teams together and getting good core groups along with good coaching and training we can provide the path to make this possible.
NEYA Soccer Age Group Breakdown: Age groups are subject to be adjusted for enrollment purposes.
U-6 3-5 year olds U-8 6-7 year olds U-10 8-9 year olds
U-12 10-11 year olds U-14 12-13 year olds
Registration Information: Registration will be held at the Hicone Road sports fields:
5009 Hicone Rd, Greensboro, NC, 27405
Dates: February 18th from 12:00 to 3:00 February 19th from 1:30 to 4 :00.
Registration Fee: New Players - $60.00 Returning Players - $50.00
Fee includes: Uniform kit consisting of shirt, Fee Includes: 7 games plus Tournament
shorts, and socks Trophy and Ribbon
7 games plus Tournament Must bring uniform from Fall season
Trophy and Ribbon for discount
Late Registration Fee: $70.00 Late Registration Fee: $60.00
Registration Fees due at time of registration.
Practice days and times will be determined by coach’s preference.
Games will be played on Saturdays at the Hicone Road sports fields.
