The New Joint Collective is a group of eclectic young artists, based in Los Angeles, collaborating on various media projects. With a focus on questioning the conventional storytelling experience, New Joint Collective aims to develop the future filmmakers, actors, writers, and producers of tomorrow.
Christopher graduated with a Bachelor in Fine Arts for Theatre at the New York University and has recently moved back to his native home of Los Angeles. Having worked on a number of shows and films as an actor when he was younger ( Suddenly Susan , Between Brothers, Perfect Game, Snow Falling on Cedars) he has continued to expand his arts in the crafts of directing, writing, editing, and producing. He has made a couple music videos, as well, which have become wildly popular on Youtube. His most recent project: Castle in the Sky , was written and directed by Christopher and he also stars in the film.
A screenwriting major at Cal State Northridge, Peter has been an active member of the entertainment industry since 2005, when he began as an assistant to multi-Emmy Award winning Director, Gary Halvorson ( Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond and Two and a Half Men ). Since, Peter has had the incredible pleasure to work on a variety of multi-camera productions, some of which include: Two and a Half Men, Mozart’s The Magic Flute – Live From the Met, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade , and many more. He is also credited in the Warner Bros 2010 release of Life as We Know It .
Amir, a recent graduate from the University of Southern California, has strong focuses on Film and TV production along with screenwriting. He has also had experience working with Reveille Productions , the company most known for the hit show The Office . Amir carries a strong knowledge of film equipment and works well as Director of Photography.
As a Literary Journalism and Drama major, Ali graduated from the University of California, Irvine and now resides in Los Angeles, working on numerous projects all the while blogging on her popular site "The Way I See it." She has also worked for a plethora of companies within the industry such as Brain Surge, Pie Town Productions, and most recently over at Discovery Studios. A young man suffers from recurring dreams, reminding him of his younger sister dying in a horrific accident. Eerily, he also suffers from a peculiar form of memory loss, but as he slips his daily routine of a medicinal pill, his reality slowly turns into anything other than normal.
