The least expensive and potentially most profitable way that Service Concepts can create value for its consumers as well as create value for itself is by assisting its consumers in becoming aware of and obtaining energy efficiency incentives. By sending out monthly flyers in the mail advertising incentives for purchasing energy star certified items as well as energy star certified housing contractors and new state and nationwide tax-breaks and incentives, consumers can be made aware of deals that would benefit them as well as reduce their power usage. Service Concepts should also have an energy efficiency expert and phone representative who can both answer consumers' questions via phone and assist them in finding the best energy conservation strategy to meet their needs. Service Concepts can also promote their own cash-back and rate incentives for making energy efficient purchases, such as a lowered electricity bill for a certain period of ownership if you build a new Energy Star certified house. Through this combination of incentive advertisement, which costs Service Concepts little but the cost of advertisement, and carefully planned incentives of their own, energy usage can be reduced for Service Concepts as well as lowering the cost of the end-customer's energy bill and helping to save the environment. These fliers could also highlight the environmental benefits of using energy efficient technologies and rely on the pressures of social-marketing to convince consumers that going green is the right thing to do.
