Executive Summary
The goal of this marketing plan is to convince Service Concept's Indiana REMC's consumers that it is beneficial for them to reduce their power consumption. This plan implements a strategy which informs consumers of the potential monetary benefits such as tax write-offs and energy star incentives as well as environmental benefits of making energy efficient purchases. Through keeping the consumer well informed of state and national incentives, the monetary benefits (as proven through our focus group results) make almost everyone regardless of their environmental beliefs interested in reducing their energy usage. The plan also expects that Indiana REMCs will potentially create cash-back offers for making Energy Star certified purchases, and will offer incentives to those who choose to build Energy Star qualified homes.
