"There are a lot of artists that are trying to make it in the country music world. Some are good, some are not so good, and then there are those select few that come along and blow you away upon hitting play. Nate Sparks is one of the latter in that equation." - Today's Country Music Magazine"Fine lyrics, with some catchy twists." - Cashbox Magazine"I've heard enough country to know this is radio worthy material. Anyone can really relate to this." - GarageBand Review"Nate Sparks and the Pamunkey River Ramblers are a new breed of americana/alt country. Tracks from their two Platinum Plus Records releases run the gamut from the traditional sounding He Can't Say (From Where I Stand, 2005) to the alt country rocker Carry On (Carry On, 2009). Their sound is definitely alt country with hints of traditional country with swelling steel guitar work by veteran Gary Carter to pounding guitar solos by Jeff Bowen and Danny Parks. Nate's original writing rivals the best in today's country music scene with heartfelt ballads and humorous upbeat hooks." - World Music Service
