During your session, the focus will be entirely on you. You chose the place, you pick the outfits you'll wear, and who will be in the pictures. This is your special time and I am only there to capture your memories.
Try to arrive to your session a few minutes early. I will spend a few minutes to try to get to know your child's personality so I can bring that out in the photographs as well as let them get comfortable with me. If you schedule the session inside your home, please allow an extra 30 minutes at the beginning and end of each session for set up and tear down (this is not counted as part of your session time and will not be charged.)
During the session, there will be times I may want to pose your child for a specific picture and other times when I want them to play and be themselves and capture the moment. If they can forget I am there and just be themselves, you will get some great pictures. I may ask you to adjust slightly or just shoot it as I see it.
Try not to put pressure on your child to "smile" or "say cheese." When this happens, you tend to get fake smiles and an uncomfortable child and this can quickly turn a happy child to tears. For ideas on what to wear, please view our faqs section.
If you schedule an appointment for a special occasion or event, please be sure to let me know if you have any special requests of people or things to photograph.

Please allow about 2 - 3 days for cd proofs to be ready and about 1 week for print proofs. I will notify you by phone or email when your proofs are ready so we can set up a time to view them. You can then choose what you would like to order at that time. Full amount is due upon ordering.
Each image from your session is hand edited. This process can take several hours and I am happy to retouch any blemishes, bruises, scars etc. and make the most of every picture. This is one of the great advantages of custom portraits.
Public event photos will be posted in low resolution format with watermark in an online gallery. You will be given the link where you can view the pictures and choose the images you like. This gives anyone who is in the pictures a chance to purchase pictures and items. If your event is private (ex. birthday party) they will not be posted online unless you request.
Sitting fees are the same no matter how many people are in your sit. I do not tag on extra sitting fees when you add multiple people. The price is for the time and talent of the photographer. Whatever shots we can get in the allotted time is fine with me.
If your purchase exceeds $500 (including session fee), you will receive a complimentary hardback photobook of your images!

*Many people like purchasing the image CD so they can have them to print whenever they like but we do offer prints as well.
VIP Digital Package
Our digital package includes the sitting fee, proofs, the high resolution CD, and a 20 page hard bound photobook or a 5x7 of each of your images (your choice) as well as 5 8x10s of your choice and $50 off a future VIP Digital Package (can be used by you or shared with a friend.)

-The session fee covers the photographer's time and talent and is due by the time of session and is non-refundable.
- All portrait orders must be paid in full at the time of order.
-All sessions are by appointment only.
-If you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so we can reschedule.
-If the session fee has already been paid, it will be applied to rescheduled sit. If not, the session fee will be due at time of rescheduled sit. If we have already started the session and you need to reschedule for any reason, and there have been no or very few portraits taken, the session fee will be applied to the rescheduled sit.
-Any print or specialty item ordered is non-refundable due to the nature of the item.
-Cameras and camcorders are not permitted during the portrait session with the exception of special occasions and events.
-All images remain the property of Remembered Images/Lynley Stanley and are protected by copyright laws. Copying/reproducing images in anyway without permission is prohibited. Remembered Images may ask to use your pictures in their advertising either on the web or in print. All names etc. would be kept private.
