~What IS Reiki?
Reiki (ray-key) is a multi-faceted spiritual energy that can be used to help us with meditation practices, spiritual growth, healing relationships, manifestation of goals, and activating the Divine healing power within all living beings. Reiki is a tool to help us develop “wellness consciousness” and also to understand, on an experiential level, what it truly means to be “One with all Creation”.
The Japanese Kanji characters that represent the word Reiki can be translated to mean; REI - Universal Life force wisdom of God and KI - vital life force which flows through all living things.
The first step is called First Degree Reiki, (Reiki Level I). The student receives an atunement where he or she is assisted to the Reiki energy and taught various hand positions and methods for applying Reiki on the self and for others. The main concepts of the founder are explained, as well as the History, Chakras, and the ideals around the practice of Reiki....and more!

The second step is called Second Degree Reiki, or Reiki Level II. The first 3 Reiki symbols and their use are taught and the student receives attunements, or to connec them to the energy of each symbol. So the symbols can be used to increase the strength of the Reiki energy dring a healing; deal with mental and emotional issues, and to send Reiki at a distance. In this Level the Student furthers the use of Reiki energy for the benefit to oneself and to others. Assisting in relieving from a wide array of ailments and habits utilizing Reiki symbols and special techniques.
