Bio Nickelyn Reames Artist, illustrator, Graphic Designer
I am a self taught Artist who has been drawing and creating art in various forms for over 20+ years. Certified as a Graphic Designer for 6+ years. I have contributed my skills an Artist and Graphic Designer in the 1800 Tequila's 'Essential Artists Campaign' for 2009, in which I was chosen as one of the 2nd place winners along with 12 other artists selected out of 15,000+ entries. Winning 1st place in a ‘Toy Design Contest’ conducted In 2006 by 'The Richards Group, LLC.' 3,797 models of the prototype of my toy design have been produced. In 2005 I had designed the cover of the magazine and advertisements for the magazine publication called ‘Showcase High’. 10,000 copies of the magazine have been distributed throughout the California S.F. Bay Area.
While I have done work for other projects and have been actively looking for new projects to take on, those I have mentioned are major accomplishments showcasing of my Artistic skills and Graphic design skills.
When I illustrate or create artwork of my own or a client design in whatever the medium, to me the process has a very liberating feeling to me. It is an outlet that has helped me believe in myself and inspire others through my art.
My mediums include but not limited to:
pencil, pen, marker, acrylic paint, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Power Point.
