Avishai Efrat has been called anything from "the best unkown singer-songwriter" to "The Israeli Daniel Johnston".
After completing more than 4 years of playing solo stripped-down versions on a weekly basis, Avishai's music has developed a Ramones-like punk sound with a 60's singer-songwriter feel and 90s grunge attitude, now to be heard with a new power trio.
Avishai's recordings have all been released independently and consist of an eclectic & lo fi sound: "Nightmares Aren't Bad Things" (available in all digital music stores), Sirens/Cocoon EP" ( Produced by Noam Lucas, recently released and soon to be available in all digital music stores) and a new EP to be released in early 2012.
His current location is Tel Aviv, Israel.
