Mullins Music is a non-profit community music school located in New Port Richey, Florida.
We are committed to providing quality music instruction to students of all ages - regardless of ability, background, or personal circumstances
Mullins Music currently offers private lessons in the areas of piano, guitar, bass guitar, clarinet, saxophone, percussion, drum set, music theory and composition. One-on-one lessons are $30 per hour or $20 per half hour. Contact us today so that we can secure a convenient time for your lesson.

Coenraad Appelgrijn Guitar, Recording Technology, Drums.
Coenraad was born in Durban, South Africa and began playing guitar at age nine. He was self-taught for six years
after which he began lessons in jazz guitar. In 1997 Coenraad moved to the United States. Two years later he
acquired his first recorder and began a self-study of recording technology. In 2000 Coenraad formed a band
named Cradled with then fiance Rhiannon. In 2001 they were married and Cradled performed at The Rock and
Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio for the MTV Series Live at the Rock Hall. The following year Cradled spent
time in the studio working with producer Buddy Pendergrass who shared many recording tips with Coenraad.
Currently Coenraad is the President of Signet Worship Studio and teaches privately in the Tampa Bay area.
Marina Mullins Artistic Director, Piano, Keyboards, Theory.
Marina Mullins was born in Durban, South Africa. Inspired by a very musical family,
she started playing piano at about four and began lessons at the age of six. After high
school she continued her study of music at the University of Natal in Durban where she
honed her skills as a jazz pianist and drummer. At the age of 21 Marina moved to Florida.
In Florida she studied at the University of South Florida and at Trinity College. She was
pianist at Palm Harbor Christian Center and later Riverside Fellowship and taught piano
lessons. In Memphis,Tennessee she taught college music at the Visible School and served as co-director of music for Memphis Christian Center, Marina also performed in Mempis with jazz groups including Southern Lights and Kwest. Marina holds a B.A. in church music from Florida Theological Seminary and a B.A. in Theology from Trinity College in
Florida. Marina taught music for five years at Dayspring Academy for education and
the arts. Currently she is the music specialist for Safety Harbor Montessori Academy.
Eric Mullins
Executive Director, Saxophone, Clarinet, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Theory, Composition.
BA, Jazz Studies, New School University.
Eric began performing professionally at the age of fifteen on historic Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee. Since then, he has appeared with Bob Newhart, Bobby "Blue" Bland, Clark Terry, Musiq Soulchild and recorded with Van Morrison. Eric's love for music has led him to perform throughout the continental United States at the Monterey Jazz Festival, the Chicago Blues Festival, the Essence Festival, Detroit's Fox Theatre and countless other venues. In addition Mr. Mullins has also appeared at the International Center for African Music and Dance in Ghana, London's Royal Albert Hall, and Chiba Art & Cultural Center in Japan. Eric taught at the Stax Music Academy and in the Memphis City Schools before founding Mullins Music. Mr. Mullins has been teaching privately for over ten years and enjoys teaching all ages and levels of students.
Rhiannon Appelgrijn was born and raised on Long Island where she spent much of her time singing in church and school choirs. As a freshman in high school, she was cast in the leading role of her school musical, which began her great love of musical theater. She was repeatedly
cast in the leading roles for the duration of her high school career. After graduating in 1997, she received a Fine Arts scholarship to the University of South Florida and studied theater for her first two years. She then joined a traveling children's theater company and performed all around the Tampa Bay area. In 1999 she was hired by a large local church as their Fine Arts Director. She later joined the staff of Dayspring Academy, where she taught drama, musical theater, chorus, voice lessons, and English. Rhiannon graduated Cum Laude from the University of South Florida with a BA in British and American Literature. Some of her credits include singing at the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame for the MTV Summer Concert Series in 2001 and performing the National Anthem at the 2004 Presidential Rally in Sims Park. Rhiannon loves to work with children to help them gain confidence and develop their singing and performance talents.
