What we are all about
Yarrrawonga is a family business and your hosts, Gail and Neil, are ready to welcome you to our little slice of Heaven. Enjoy one of our three comfy, cedar cabins perfectly nestled on 25 acres just 20 minutes out of Mudgee. Not only is the accommodation well-equipped with all you need but grandly overlooks the majestic Munghorn Gap. The cabins have double beds with a two singles as well as modern kitchens and bathrooms.
We’re fully self-contained and pet-friendly right on the doorstep of Mudgee’s famous vineyards.
Mudgee is a beautiful historic area just 3.5 hours out of Sydney.
Hike up the mountain or relax with a glass of wine and a perfect view.
Yarrawonga means “water that runs over rocks” and that’s just the kind of freedom you’ll find here.

Our Cabins
All three cabins have a spacious double bedrooms and a cosy loft with 2 single beds. Four can sleep comfortably and linen is provided. There is also a self-contained kitchen, modern bathroom, beautiful lounge/dining room and vast varandah.
Also included are:
barbeque, TV with DVD player (feel free to choose from our expansive library), microwave, stove, oven, fridge, hairdryer, kettle, iron etc.

How to get there
1. Once you have reached the Town of Mudgee,
2. turn off Castlereagh onto Church Street (the main street through the Town)
3. head northwards out of the Town, past the Clock Tower
4. over the bridge at Lawson’s Park. This is the Ulan Road
5. continue along this road for 10 kms until you get to a sign showing a right hand turn along the Wollar/Bylong Road
6. this is the “ Tourist Route “, and will have a large sign listing the accommodation along the way – Yarrowonga Cabins is on this sign, showing a distance of 21 kms
7. turn right into this road and continue along it for 17.6 kms,
8. then turn right onto the Kains Flat Road
9. continue along Kains Flat Road for 3.2 kms,
10. you will arrive at the large wooden entrance to Yarrawonga Cabins on your right hand side (334 Kains Flat Road).
11. Your hosts, Neil and Gail, will be ready in the first cabin to welcome you and give you all the details of your accommodation etc.
