PEOPLE'S ASSEMBLY for POPULAR EDUCATION & LIBERATION
About PAPEL
The People's Assembly for Popular Education & Liberation (PAPEL) is an educational grassroots organization. Our mission is to create a constructive and collective learning environment that addresses community problems and solutions, based on the principles of community, unity, active engagement, cultural dialogue, and mutual human respect.
Our objective is to empower members of the community to proactively participate in the educational development of its youth, and integrate popular education into sectors of the community that are socially, economically, culturally, and politically marginalized by the constraints of traditional schooling.
