YEARBOOK FIELD TRIP #1:
CASTLE ROCK PARK
Saturday September 25
8:30am - 2:00pm meet _ Flag Pole
Parents will drive yearbook students. There will be team-building activities, hiking to a waterfall, climbing of Goat Rock, and bouldering to explore the caves at Castle Rock Park. Bring your own lunch, camera & layers of clothing in case of cold weather. This will be the 3rd annual trip.

Callejon Grading Policy for Grades 6-8
The Back to School Packet will provide specific details for the overall grading policy. Here is a brief overview of what to expect from Middle School grading policy we have adopted:
The students final grade in class will be based on a weighted scale for the following categories:
40% Assessments
==> Tests, Quizzes, other types of verbal or
performance based assessments
30% Demonstrations
==> Projects, labs, etc...
15% Practice
==> Student work to be completed in class
15% Homework
==> Student work to be completed at home

*Assessments & Demonstrations account for 70%
