2009 Meet and Greet Tommy Ivo in Person...
After the So. Cal NNL Show... My buddy John invited me to photograph this moment in history for John and I to cherish and to remember that late saturday afternoon when we got to visit a legend in Drag Racing "TV Tommy Ivo". John gave to Tommy Ivo his 1/25 scale 4-engine Buick Wagon Master. That won "Best of Show" at the 2009 Citrus Nationals contest. Tommy Ivo brought us into what he calls the "Drag Racing Room" which was converted from a garage back in the day when he parked his fuel car. As Tommy says every thing that you see have a significant meaning to him and his career... From John and Me (Fuelish) We "Thank You" so much for the tour of your "Drag Racing Room" and all the gifts...

2009 Citrus Nationals Model Car Contest
Joe Tentschert aka Joe T.
I met Joe T. at my local hobby Shop where he was employed at. Usually when I finish a build, I usually place them in the box that they originally came in and stored it away in a corner of a room. Joe T. mentioned that I need to show other people my builds as well. So he introduces me to my 1st model car show. "2006 The Grand National Roadster Show". At that show I won my 1st master award "Best of Show" for my 1950 Magenta Austin Gasser. Joe T. was also builder too. He usually builds 50s and 60s Custom Cars. He always manages to chop, channeled and lower his builds into the weeds. The picture at the top left is approx. 1 year before his passing when he was into Drag Racing Slot Cars at Buena Park Raceway. One small quality I notice about Joe T. was that he favored the Juniors of model car building. He always seems to be helping out some novice builder to get him or her interested in building model cars. Joe T. always gave away model car kits to the youngster who seems to be genuinely interested in building model cars. Only thing he requested was that he gets to admire the finish product. The next picture is one of Joe's favorite Car Customizer Mr. George Barris displaying the "George Barris Pick" at the Barris Car Show. Joe ... I want "Thank You" so much for being a close friend and allowing to attend my 1st contest that started me in meeting new friends of the hobby.
Joe may you "Rest In Peace" for Eternity. Johnny SouthSide Teresi
