What Is Underground Thunder?
Underground Thunder is a Cd "mixtape" series created by Nitemare Records to help promote independent artists across the country to large numbers of listeners every where in the world.
Why is there a Fee?
Nitemare Records spends a good amount of funds promoting the projects with flyers, posters, websites, shows and more, as well as maintaining the websites for the artists. We also provide physical copies of the project to multiple stores and to events and venues that cater to the preferred audience. We make no profit from this project. Every dollar is utilized for promotion. Therefore the more funds that we make from fees, the more funds we can spend on promoting this project. Its a simple as that.
Why do you do this?
The project began as a way to promote Nitemare Records' artists. As we looked at the project we realized the potential to not only aid our own artists , but to aid other independent artists as well, to spread the wealth of promotion. As our alliances with marketing sites and mixtape sites grew we saw an opportunity to help the great sounding artists out there really get heard..
But you don't profit, what do you get out of it?
Lets be real, we don't make any profit so therefore we have to get something out of it right? Well our artists appear on the cds too. So therefore while we are hard at work promoting you , we are also hard at work promoting ourselves. This serves sort of a fail safe for you too, because you already know we are going to make sure that we promote ourselves.
Once I Pay the submission fee does that guarantee me a spot on a volume?
The submission fee does not guarantee you a spot on the mixtape. Once you pay the fee the song that you have submitted is reviewed by a panel of judges that will decide if the song is of high enough quality and marketable to appear on the next volume.
How Do I Guarantee A Spot on a Volume?
The Only way to guarantee a spot on a volume is to pay the $100 fee. Contact us at admin_nitemarerecords.com to set up payment.
When I pay the "Guaranteed Spot Fee" Do I choose the song or do you?
When you pay the "Guaranteed Spot Fee" you are essentially paying to have your song added to the project without a judges panel review. If you do this we will not review the song (other than for recording quality) .. Therefore it is in your best interest to be sure to pick the best song in your catalog.
Will the artists that appear on the project receive a copy of the release?
Artists that are selected to appear on the project, or pay for a guaranteed spot will recieve a minimum of 2 physical copies of the project. We will also be providing artists that are in areas that we do not have street teams in place with copies of the cds that they can give to stores in their area that we cannot reach.
Is There A limit to the number of submissions that i can make?
There is no limit to the number of submissions that you can make.. However you must pay a seperate submission fee for each song. It is possible for more than one song to be chosen to be on any project.
