Best described as a typical English Estate Lake, Twin Peaks is a picturesque lake of about an acre and a half set in the lovely Brittany countryside right on the very edge of the Forest d'Araize. Spring fed and completely private, no licenses required.
This holiday will appeal to those who enjoy their fishing, appreciate peace and tranquility and want to go home at the end of the holiday feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
Fishing for the 250+ Carp we have stocked (up to 26lbs) guarantees a good weeks fishing. If you don't want to fish every day bring (or hire) the bikes and cycle or walk the 23 kilometres around the forest or discover more of the many local cycle ways. (see locality page for other things to do in the area).
Ideally suited to a couple or two friends, (third adult at additional cost), your holiday will be totally self-catering.

Other shops include an excellent bakery (croissants recommended, get there early) tabac, butcher, pharmacy, post office, banks etc. and several bars, restaurants and cafes.
A small market comes to town every Friday morning and sets up in front of the very impressive church.
We live on site in a little bungalow at the far end of the lake so will be on hand to ensure you have a trouble free holiday.
