Genevieve Tait

Genevieve has worked for Film Ink, Encore Magazine and travelled internationally as a PR representative for a leading Los Angeles firm.
In her spare time she edits novels while also penning her own original theatrical works and screenplays. Her film BAD TIDINGS was a finalist in the Newtown Flicks Film Festival. Her most recent outing in cinema: ROSY MAX (which she both wrote and directed) is an entrant in the Dungog Film Festival.
Glen Jackson
SET DESIGN / WAITER
Glen had been involved with the theatre from a very young age until he realised what the word pretentious meant. To occupy his time he went out to his dad’s shed and began to build things. First came crossbows, slingshots, glove-guns and bows and arrows. Then, as he longed for a set of wheels, came motorised scooter-trikes.
What these inventions lacked in safety, speed, usability and a seat they made up for in problem solving genius. Glen was particularly proud of his torch-in-the-mouth headlight idea until his father nearly ran over him at night.
Since then have come guitars, lutes and a world of house repairs before meeting some of the nicer theatre types and reaching the pinnacle of his “making-stuff-work” phase, with set building. When not making stuff, Glen has to earn money. To do this he is a Science teacher at a Wollongong high school. As Glen is quoted as saying: “It pays for my tools and has not caused me to regress to making weaponry... so it must be ok!”
Glens recent stage achievements include MAN 1 in the award winning play NINE-THIRTY-SIX.
Louis Cremen
STAGE MANAGER
Louis enjoys romantic walks on the beach, dinner by candlelight, making applications for the ever-popular iPhone and constructing
strange combinations to post into his bio.
Armed with a degree of Computer Science, Louis will be attempting to take over the world backwards through his vocoder, while accompanying himself on the electric cello which he has never studied, and if that fails then he will be happy to take over part of the world with a few of his mates.
One of Louis' passions, other than making love to a computer, are musicals and he enjoys listening to a good musical soundtrack while working; for instance he's currently listening to [Title of Show], which is his 9th favourite musical.
On a more serious note, Louis is the CEO of Guardian Software Development developing mobile applications for a living. He also is a
research assistant at the University of Wollongong, a volunteer working for anti-human trafficking organisations in Australia and overseas and he travels around the country teaching people how to program on the iPhone. He has been backstage and front of house for Rockdale Musical Society for five years and was a chorus member in Footloose for Engadine Musical Society in 2006.
This is Louis' second stage management gig, with the other being the RMS CABARET: SWEET ARPEGGIOS. He's excited to be working with the fine cast and crew of LOVESONG.
Leon Spencer
COMPOSER
Leon has been involved with music for years. Since picking up the guitar at age eleven he has expanded his musical apparatus to include bass, piano, mandolin, vocals, and most recently, drums. When not studying at university or working to support his musical habits, he can be found playing acoustic gigs around Sydney, or drumming in the band, The Wild Frontier.
No stranger to the stage, Leon has sung in various musicals, most notably as Buddy Holly in The Buddy Holly Story, produced by Canterbury Theatre Guild, and as Jesus in Chatswood Musical Society’s production of Jesus Christ Superstar. This is the first opportunity he has had to lend his own music to a production, and that makes for a refreshing change.
