Michael Persiano--Bonsai Artist, Demonstrator, Instructor, and Author
As an internationally recognized bonsai artist, Michael Persiano's bonsai creations represent a balancing of the traditional and contemporary in bonsai design.
Michael has internationally published more than 50 articles,headlined in France and Australia, and is frequently consulted for maintenance strategy for some the top collections in the US and abroad. His recently co-authored book, The Masters' Series for Pines, remains a top seller.
He is a frequent contributor to Bonsai Focus magazine.

Demonstrations and Workshops
Demonstrations are typically performed on materials provided by the requesting bonsai organization. Michael's has no preference for bonsai materials. Depending on the complexity of the material, demonstrations can range from 1-3 hours in length Workshops should not exceed more than 15 individuals.
SERVICES
Consultative Services for Private and Public Collections
Michael's has provided consultative bonsai services for private and public collections in the US, France, Australia, Canada and Russia. Michael specializes in the restoration of old trees: the results are often tranformational.

Shimpaku Styling
In 2007, Andolfo (Italy), Donnelly (Canada), and Persiano (US) styled a 75-100 year Shimpaku at Bonsai Gros-Bec in St.-Alfonse-Rodriguez Canada. The studio is owned and managed by Suzanne Piche and Robert Smith.
