Action Cricket is one of the fastest indoor sports currently played in South Africa. Thousands of players are playing on a weekly basis enjoying this fast paced game and the good news is that you don’t need any experience to play. The beauty of the game is that it allows both men and women to take part together! Many companies use Action Cricket as a vehicle for corporate entertainment or staff team building where the emphasis is always on the participants ENJOYING themselves.Why Montague Gardens Arena?We have the largest indoor sports venue in South Africa with seven spacious courts, spotless changerooms and showers, a kiosk selling food, a lively and fully licenced pub with a big screen as well as an outdoor deck complete with braai facilities. Our equipment is of the highest standard and we have friendly and professional staff to assist you at all times.

How does Action Cricket work?Each team consists of 8 players and each player gets a chance to bat, field and bowl. An Umpire will explain the rules to you beforehand and will keep score on the electronic scoreboard. Each game lasts for 70 minutes.League Games: R400-00Social Game: R440-00 (per team) R880-00 (per court)Practice: R30 (Per Person Per Hour)

Action Netball courts are surrounded by netting to keep the ball in play at all times. The rules are similar to those of outdoor Netball, except that the nets become an integral part of the game. This adds to the excitement of the game and ensures that every person who has the opportunity to play, will get thirty minutes of aerobic exercise while having fun!It’s guaranteed that once you try it you will love it and you will have found an excellent way to exercise, release tensions and socialise.
