BIO

I grew up in California and did not receive any formal training in art. I spent seven years in the Air Force before pursuing my career in teaching. I am an elementary teacher full time and love it. I am married and have three daughters in high school. My inspiration simply comes from a love of art and creating things that others can enjoy. Add a deep love for animals to that, and you come up with me. I use acrylics on stretched canvas. I paint the sides of the canvas and add a coat of gloss to protect and enhance the colors in the painting. This leaves it ready to hang and enjoy. I am experimenting with other media.CONTACT
