Now we will show more of our cats again and also start showing in halter,liberty,jumping and driving classes with our miniature horses. One of my kitetns is helping me type as I write! LOL! I am a, soon to be ,49 year old mother of three teenaged children. I have been married for 16 years and have been with my husband for 18 years now. I love animals of all kinds. We have one dog (a Border Collie named Jayna), several cats for our Pixiebob breeding program (Potomac Pixiebobs)...we do have kittens available! We also have the two dressage/jumping/english horses: Merlin & Highleigh both sadly up for sale. We also have several new miniatures coming to our farm....watch for available foals!! HERE.
I have been breeding and showing Pixie Bobs for over 16 years. I have been breeding & training miniature horses (to drive) for over 6 years. I bought my two horses for the specific purpose of eventing, jumping and dressage ,to show. Unfortunately my joints became so bad from rheumatoid arthritis that I can no longer ride with any comfort, I can still drive as this does not put as much pressure on my joints as riding does. So the only reason they are for sale is they deserve more time and a job with their people. They are super people oriented horses and need plenty of people time as well as horse time.
We have lived in a small town ,Nokesville, in Virginia
for 18 years..I have lived in the Washington DC Metropolitan area on and off since I was six years old. The rest of the time I have lived on the West Coast of Florida by the Gulf (a place I dearly love SW Florida) near my very extended family. I am a native born Floridian.
My husband was born in Rhode Island and moved to Northern Virginia when he was 9 years old. He has his own small business in a near by town.
My three children enjoy sports, skating,drawing,writing etc. They also halped me show our Pixiebobs to many titles from SGC (RW and International recognition for 2nd Best Longhair and 4 th Best Short Hair Pixie Bobs respectively) to QGC,TGC,DGC,and of course champion. They were little to boot and carried these large Pixiebob males (many times) and some of the females to their respective rings to be judged....dodging feet and adult bodies as they wove through the crowd! We will be showing a new gorgeous female kitten named Potomac Erie this 2011-2012 show season in TICA.
