Many of my clients are busy peopl e working hard to get ahead; juggling their work-life balance. Taking time out of the day to go to a ‘clinic’ can be a time-costly and impractical thing, which means it simply does not happen.
Mothers & house-hubbies are some of the people who need a massage more than anyone as you spend all day bending down picking up not only the child, but also the chaos left behind. You often experience l ack of sleep and simply may be unable to find a way to get everything organised to get to a massage clinic.
High achievers and adventures often push their work-life and play-life to the extreme. It is not possible to achieve your best in either your playtime or work-time if you are carrying tension and pain from one to the other.
With a mobile practice there is no need for you to you to try & find time during your busy day to get into town....I provide a luxurious relaxing & beneficial treatment in the comfort of your own home.

With a focus on healing and relaxing I incorporate techniques such as deep-tissue massage , reflexology, acupressure, lymphatic drainage, sports massage, myofcacial release, soft tissue release and other well known techniques as appropriate for your body’s requirements.
In saying this though the techniques used will vary from client to client and maybe from session to session as they are based primarily on what your body needs at the time.
For example, in one session you may require a more relaxing session, and in another your body may call out for more intense deep tissue work to ease deep seated muscular tension.
BACK TO FAQ MENU
I bring a mobile massage table with me, plus fresh clean linen and oils.
Before we begin I will ask you to complete a questionnaire to help me accurately understand any injury or health conditions you may have.
During the actual massage treatment we will dedicate some time at the beginning to ‘tune-in’, analysing any areas of tension while we warm up the muscle groups we are going to focus on.
Your modesty will be protected during the massage and only the limb/body part that is being worked on at the time will be uncovered. Some body parts may remain fully covered throughout the massage.
Your feedback throughout the process is valued and essential – this is your massage after all.
It is important for you to be aware that there are some health conditions where it is not advised to have a massage, the most common one of these being when you are suffering from the flu, as a massage during this time can make your symptoms worse.
Other health conditions that may be ‘contraindicated’ for massage are certain forms of cancer, some skin conditions and any infectious diseases.
For this reason I will ask you to complete a health questionnaire before we begin treatment and if you have any doubts about your health condition I recommend you ask you GP.
No , if you prefer to relax to the point where your mind drifts off, that is fine by me. It won’t affect the level to which I apply pressure in a deep-tissue massage.
I will still ask for your feedback on any areas of interest and that may call your mind back to the present.
Of course, if you are fully awake and would like to talk with me then I welcome that interaction with you also, but I am happy to work in complete silence while you relax, this time is yours to make the most off after all .
I do find that clients receive the greatest benefits from the massage session if they do just relax and unwind in silence.
Yes, I can provide you with a full colour gift certificate.
The standard certificate is for a one hour massage, but simply call me and I am happy to customise a certificate especially for you.
The certificates are generally valid for 3 months, but please speak to me if you would like another arrangement.
You can pay for the certificate via internet banking, I can send the certificate in either electronic or hard-copy format - which ever suits your requirements best.
Yes, I love working with athletes and am happy to customise short massage treatments for after the event, such as ten minute leg massage for cylists/runners, or

Laurence Edwards, Parkinson’s sufferer
As a retired farmer, now a Parkinson’s sufferer and having had a double hip replacement, I find I get great relief from
Tania’s therapeutic massage.
The Parkinson’s accentuates the stiffness from the hip replacement and a weekly massage relieves the restlessness that plagues my body almost constantly
Also, having damaged my neck through various incidents during my farming days, I regularly suffer from aching in the upper spine which limits my movement. Even a half hour massage session brings immediate and lasting relief .
“My wife says I have become much easier to live with as a result”
