BIOGRAPHY
WELCOME!
The site documents my journey through the wonders in community service and my life, capturing moments of my involvement. Some express themselves through art, poetry, or song; I tend to express myself through canvassing my neighborhood and discovering opportunities to support its development. . The projects you find here were organized and/ or managed by me with the assistance of wonderful groups of volunteers and others who share my passion for community improvement.
Born and raised in the southern comforts of Memphis, TN at the age of 13 began a life long journey of enjoying community involvement proactively by volunteering. Community organizing with events and projects in my neighborhood has always been of great importance holding the most distinctive presence in all my work as well as throughout different mediums not immediately related to altruism. Experience in “For profit” Sales and Management, Journalism, and Public relations has significantly helped mold my career choice to dive into Business Development of the Non Profit Sector.
Inspired by neighborhood unsung heroes including teachers, principles, and community leaders, I readily accept the role of Community Event Planner and Fund Raiser. With novice experience there is still much to learn. Holding an Associate’s Degree in Marketing and Business Management I have accomplished a lot. Continuing this trend at Pepperdine University & using the resources offered to me to improve my skills. I am looking forward to pursue a long career in Non Profit Business Development & starter business development , with my own corporation.
Connecting with the community and improving the circumstances holds the most value to me, here you will get a glimpse of what I am so passionate about and why. A pure expression of what makes me, ME. Like Picasso with his brush or Chopin with a tune, this is what defines me.
Hope you enjoy your visit to this site and feel free to connect with me. SALUT!
