The second I pushed the shutter button on my Pentax K1000 in 2002, I knew photography would play an important role in my life. From what I remember the image was quite poor, but the sound of that solid 'click, and the small vibration that ran through the body and into my fingers - just felt right.
Film, Digital, Mobile... I if I can get an image out of something, I will. I'm not against photoshop, particular to analog, or judgemental to any new photo technology for that matter. A good image, is a good image however you get it .
That said , I'm constantly on the hunt for a camera, or film type I haven't worked with yet.
Experimenting = FUN.
I shoot it all. Indoors, outdoors. Things that breathe. Things that don't. But most of all I enjoy working with people on portrait shoots.There's nothing like seeing the look on someones face when I deliver the final images.
It's usually this mouth-wide-open silent stare. And that's when I know I dug in, just enough to pull out something even they never quite see.
