As a consultant, writer and producer, Michael entered the motion picture industry in the 1980s with the foresight to option the movie rights to Frank Abagnales all telling book, Catch Me If You Can. In 1983 he partnered with Mr. Bartlett for many years and thereafter developed many film projects with such stars as Marlon Brando, Sophia Loren, Priscilla Presley and Anthony Quinn. Michael was a Executive for Hall Bartlett Films, (which had previously earned 12 Oscar nominations from a slate of 12 films) and managed The Jonathan Livingston Seagull Company. Jonathan originally won 32 awards including the Grammy for Best Motion Score by Neil Diamond, two Oscar nominations and the Best Picture Award from the Association of Christians and Jews. MJ is a former signatory of the Writers Guild of America, West. As a screenwriter- (dba Michael J DuDek) Michael has penned a dozen treatments and scripts.
