"It's All About You"
On July 10, eighteen of the state's most beautiful and talented young ladies converged upon Hewitt-Trussville High School to compete for the title of Miss Trussville. At the end of the evening, Chandler Champion would be crowned Miss Trussville 2012.
Those placing in the top five were: Hayley Barber, first runner up; Sydnii Todd, second runner up; Julie Meeks, third runner up; Rachel Rivers, fourth runner up.
The talent award went to Chandler Champion. The Lifestyle and Fitness award went to Sydnii Todd. The Arthur Payne Award was shared between Hayley Barber and Sydnii Todd.

Chandler Champion is a Freshman at the University of Alabama and a member of the Crimson Cabaret. Her platform is "Chandler's Challenge" (Reading is Believing; Don't Stop Believing.) Honors have included National Honor Roll, Student Council, President's Education Outstanding Academic Excellence Award, Most Likely to Succeed and Most Talented. Accomplishments have included The Rockette Summer Intensive, having danced at the premiere of the movie "Fame", having taught an audition class for Moscow Ballet, and having been cast in numerous ballets and productions. She also received a resolution from the State of Alabama for academic, dance and leadership accomplishments.
