OUR STORY
At the heart of Burning Truth are Terry The Troubadour and Luminara The Fire Twirler.Their story begins many moons ago when a traveling minstrel made his way from the vast wilds of Montana to the misty coastal range of Oregon. Here he sought refuge from the relentless winter rains in a peaceful river valley known as 'Yachats'. The name has been translated as 'dark water under the mountain'.Luminara The Fire Twirler was born and raised on the Oregon Coast. The beaches and the forests provided lush environs for her skills to flourish.When The Troubadour first played while Luminara danced - they both felt a resonation within. This would be the spark that would ignite BURNING TRUTH - setting both The Fire Twirler and The Troubadour on a path that would forever change their lives...Beginning with a prayerful ceremony on Beltane 2005, the two have shared a mission to celebrate and mark each passing sabbat with ceremony of dance and song.
