WHAT IN THE WORLD IS A KEYTAR??Mike Silverman's Keytar is a keyboard worn like a guitar that has some features that distinguish it from a regular keyboard instrument. The controls on the neck allow him to bend the pitch like bending a guitar string, as well as add vibrato.He can shift octaves up or down to achieve much more range than the 4 octaves of keys on the instrument. It has hundreds of sounds, though Mike usually goes for synth leads, flutes, and strings.
