The Collective Meets Broadway
Brooklyn, NY It is no secret that the hottest new show on Broadway isFELAthe musical. This play has gotten numerous reviews from various critics, but the most recent buzz around town is the lead Djembe drummer, and that is our very own Rasaan E. "Talu" Green. Talu is also the son of CHYC founders Richard and Dr. Myrah Brown-Green.
Talu grew up with a love and fascination for instruments of all kinds, and got his first start behind the djembe drum at age 2.Learn More......

The Crown Heights Youth Collective was founded in 1978, in response to a need for community development in the Central Brooklyn area. The organization has serviced over 10,000 youth worldwide, and continies to grow in numbers.
