Synopsis
Summer 2010. China. China becomes more and more involved in a global exchange. Whose China? follows 33 young adults from 29 countries in a journey across northern China. Few of them have much knowledge about Chinese culture, politics or society. Some foreign students thought "[China] was full of contrasts and opposites." Some "expected everything to be red," while one of the Chinese participants "really want[ed] to get rid of the misunderstanding between China and the rest of the world." They compare what they know with each other and with their Chinese surroundings. Explore China through the eyes of these students.
