By investing in today’s technologies, we will be able to take a step forward to do our part in energy conservation. We propose to work with the Tipmont REMC’s website “E-Bill” program that will have a direct impact on their customer’s wallet and energy consumption. By creating and mailing out a CD-ROM of a step-by-step program to set up an online account profile through Tipmont REMC, customers are able to track their monthly savings, show government/state/local tax credits and
incentives available, and create a point system based on certain energy saving products and reductions in monthly statements. These points will be redeemable for coupons and savings to
area partnered restaurants, stores, or credit on future utility statements. We will include the free CD through direct mail publications as well as making the online account profile set-up guide available through the Tipmont REMC website. By integrating this technology with the current E-Bill system, it will create for a smooth transition to current and prospective users of their online service.
