A son of Irvington, NJ, I'm truly an 80's baby. Music held my ear and attention at an early age, thanks to my uncle Terrance who was a transit worker by day, houseparty dj by night. Raised in the era of shelltoe Adidas, breakdance battles on cardboard boxes, graffitti and block parties, these elements shaped my taste for sound, style, and substance. Relocating to Texas in my teen years provided an opportunity to open my eyes to a variety of experiences and elements I'd never been exposed to, and had a great deal to do with my appreciation for variety and all things new. This continued during my time at Florida A&M University, where as a proud Rattler, I began to express myself musically (albeit shortlived). Now back home in Texas, the family man still remains deeply in love with music that's shaped my life, and I remain well rooted in the vast and richly talented musical community in the city of Houston, and on the internet under the handle of MistaGoodBar......
