Merv's BioMerv is a multi-talented singer, writer and producer of country music. He recieved his first guitar at the age of 14 and was hooked on the country sounds of The Everly Brothers, Roy Orbison, Merle Haggart and Waylon Jennings. Merv brings these powerful influences to the seasoned performer he is today.The Merv Tremblay Band was founded in 1985 and they entertained at venues throughout the Calgary area. In 1995, they performed at the season-opening game at McMahon Stadium.During a visit to the British Columbia's beautiful Fraser Valley, Merv fell in love with the area and settled in Mission. He re-assembled his band, this time taking advantage of the great country music talent pool in British Columbia. Merv produced and released his first cd, "The Merv Tremblay Band - I Just Wanna Dance With You".
