INTRODUCTION
Entertainment has become a mobile industry with some forty states and several foreign countries offering production tax incentives to attract production. Louisiana led the way with its aggressive incentive program first passed in 2002. It was the passage of these incentives that prompted the organization of FTE Consulting Group, LLC.
FTEC founder and lead consultant, Charles Bush, III was instrumental in the development and passage of Act 456, also known as the Motion Picture Investors Tax Credit Program. The immediate success of that program created a market for a consulting firm that works exclusively with the entertainment industry.
Since its inception, FTE Consulting Group has worked with numerous filmmakers, television producers and government agencies across the country to develop and implement strategies to maximize the benefits of an indigenous entertainment industry.
