I have tried a lot of fitness plans but Zumba is the first that I have done more than a year. I usually get bored/lazy after the first few months. Thanks to Mabel who makes it so exciting, I have been doing Zumba for 3 years now. I do it not just to lose weight but for health reasons. I'm hypertensive and prediabetic so exercise is an important aspect of my treatment regimen. Then my daughter Katrina got interested, too. So all the more it got exciting for me cause we are doing it together. Our drive to Quest is like a bonding time for both of us. It took a lot of convincing on my Mom's part to get me to attend a Zumba class - but ever since that first class, I've been in love! I love that each class is such a stress reliever. I can forget about my reading assignments, outlining & problems at my internship in one hour of dancing - all while losing weight & getting to see all my Zumba Titas & Titos. I also love that I get to share the experience with my mom. I'll see her working hard - and it inspires me to work hard, too. It's no secret that I absolutely love to dance! This is the reason why I love Zumba. In Zumba, I feel more like partying and dancing with friends than actually exercising. It's so fun and I enjoy every minute of it. I also thank my sis-in-law, Connie for introducing it to me 7 months ago. Since then I hardly miss a session. I've lost more than 10 lbs and I'm back to my size 6 figure. I feel lighter and healthier and I met a lot of nice ladies and gentlemen. Eilay & Elsa, my Zumba students, gave me a demo about this product that they are always excited about. I agreed to meet with them because I wanted to find out more about it. I mean, who in this world is not interested to look younger? I've used products before such as Lancome & Clinique but I never really saw or felt any noticeable difference. All I knew was that they were expensive products. So, I came to the demo thinking this will be another one of those stuff. Well, to cut the story short, after doing a half-face demo on me using their scientifically proven AgeLoc Galvanic Spa system, I could not believe what I saw in the mirror. The side that they worked on for less than 10 minutes has less prominent laugh lines and hardly noticeable eyebags. It felt softer and has a certain glow. Let's Dance So They Can "Talk"
Quest Zumba is dedicated not only to help men and women reach their fitness goals. Every other month, we hold a 2-hour Zumbathon that aims to raise funds for children with speech impediments. As a Speech Language Pathologist, I see and feel the need for children to have an Alternative Augmentative Communication (AAC) device that they can use at home or anywhere else they go. My wonderful Zumba family shares this mission with me. Together, we sweat it out for 2 hours as we raise funds for this cause.Our next one is coming up on Monday, July 4 from 8AM TO 10AM. The session costs $10 only. Come and be a part of it!
