Social Studies, with a trip to the High School for a movie about cave drawings, our excavation experience at camp, digging up relics, and a visit from a real archeologist who shared his expertise about cave drawings and his experiences on "digs."
In Language Arts we continue to be challenged to improve our writing, to do things that make us really think, and to enjoy the stories we are reading. We are currently enjoying "Peter and the Starcatchers," and look forward each day to new adventures!
The first half of the first quarter is passed, and it seems that the students are starting to understand the many differences between fifth and sixth grade.
