Recreation Programs SMACKtennis has partnered with the Nicolet, Cedarburg and Port Washington Recreation Departments to offer these great communities unmatched tennis programs at affordable prices. We are very excited to share our passion for this great game and have a lot of fun while we are at it!

Tournament Coaching

SMACKadvanced at Nicolet : 4-6pm Monday-Thursday 10-12am Fridays
This program uses the Linked Training System with instruction from the best players/coaches in Wisconsin. All drills take place at Nicolet High School lower courts. This clinic is an intense college developmental program that focuses on match strategy, conditioning, competitive repetition, and supervised matchplay.
Summer Unlimited- Cost: $990 ($19 per drill)
30 Lesson Pack- Cost $750 ($25 per drill)
15 Lesson Pack- Cost: $600 ($40 per drill)
Individual Drill- Cost: $50 per drill
SMACKdevelop at Nicolet : 2-4pm Monday-Thursday 10-12am Friday
This drill is perfect for anyone interested in developing the skills to be a varsity player. Junior Varsity, 8th and 7th graders are welcome.

Sean McInerney - UW-Milwaukee Head Women's Tennis Coach
Sean has been teaching tennis in Wisconsin for the past 15 years. He has been responsible for the development of many state, regional, and national juniors. Sean has personally coached 11 Wisconsin state champions in singles and doubles and continues to develop top players annually.

Tim Koppa - Head Girls/Boys Tennis Coach at Nicolet High School for 17 years
The Knights have won 9 team state championships during his tenure. Tim leads the doubles development where he has coached numerous state champions and runners-up. He has received numerous honors including twice being named the Wisconsin Coach of the Year (1997 & 2005) and was honored as the Midwest High School Tennis Coach of the Year in 2005. Previously, Tim coached Division I tennis at UW-Milwaukee from 1989-1994. Tim has taught tennis in the North Shore for over 20 years during the summer months
Mark Goldin - UW-Milwaukee Assistant Women's Tennis Coach
Mark recently finished up four years of playing Number 1 Singles and Doubles at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. UW-GB is Division 1 Men's Tennis in the Horizon League Conference. Mark is also a former Nicolet team state champion and individual state runner-up. He is currently assistant coach for UW-Milwaukee and is excited to specialize on advanced juniors to help take their games to a Division 1 Collegiate level and beyond.
Mike Dierberger - Director of Junior Development- LeClub
Michael has been ranked #1 in Wisconsin throughout his junior career and in the top of the Midwest and National junior rankings. He graduated from Nicolet in June 2006 where he played #1 singles all four years. Freshman year, Mike took 3rd in state, and then continued to win three consecutive state singles titles sophomore, junior and senior year. Mike is currently competing on scholarship for the UW-Madison tennis team. Mike has taught tennis for the past six years, where he has been working with all ages and levels.
