If you saw and heard Uncle Mango at the Colorado Aloha Festival that was held this past September in Boulder, you know what a tremendously talented musician and vocalist he is. His unique style and intimate knowledge of the Hawaiian songs that he plays takes you back to the old Hawai'i of days gone by, and brings to you a sense of how it was when Hawai'i was a much more isolated and laid back place. Aloha Friday has always been a time in the islands for getting together with friends and family after a long workweek, sharing food, companionship and music with one another.
