Hi. I'm Matt Wood. I've been drawing for pretty much my whole life. I've probably been playing video games for even longer. So, of course, it's pretty perfect to combine my two favorite activities into one, right?
I only recently just started getting into other forms of 2D art. I've been spending the last 3 years heavily learning about color, and trying to paint a little, digitally. I've also spent that time learning how to model in 3D, and do some animation. I'd like to think I've gotten good at doing both of these for how long I've come, but I know I have a really long way to go before I'm nearly as good as I'd like to be.
Outside of art and games, I've been playing music for nearly 12 years. I can play any percussion/drum intsrument to bass guitar to pretty much any horn instrument. Lately, though, I'll usually just enjoy playing on my keyboard for fun. I'm also a big reader. I really enjoy high fantasy and sci-fi novels, so there's a lot of inspiration in that for me.
