The medieval market town of Devizes, Marlborough with its renowned wide High Street and the picturesque thatched cottages of Pewsey are all within a 10 mile radius of Well Cottage.
The area is also amazing for walking holidays with the beautiful rolling hills, the quiet, flat canal, a maze of footpaths through open countryside and the woodlands of West Woods and Savernake . Both woods are a must in spring time with their 'carpet' of bluebells. One American guest even said, if West Woods in spring was the only place she had visited she would have gone home happy!
