Hot Stone Therapy is a style of massage where heated stones are placed at specific sites on your body to deepen relaxation and promote circulation in your muscles. Muscles that are heated with these stones release tension and stress much more deeply and quickly than with a traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating.

Neuromuscular therapy is a system of massage techniques that were developed in the 1930's by Dr. Stanley Lief in England. It uses a holistic approach towards healing, emphasizing and stimulating the body's natural ability to heal itself. Neuromuscular therapy also enhances the function of joints and muscles, and accelerates the overall healing process by facilitating the release of endorphins.

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Each Massage session is tailored to meet your individual need. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early for your first appointment so you can fill out a health history form. It is extremely important that I have thorough knowledge of your health history, as some conditions are contraindications for massage.
Draping Policy: You should feel free to remove as much or as little of your clothing as you wish. I will be more effective if you are fully undressed, including your underwear, but your comfort level is most important. You will be draped with a sheet, and/or towel for the entire massage treatment. The draping will be adjusted to uncover only the area of the body that is receiving massage. Draping is always used in my sessions with you. At no time will a treatment be given with insufficient draping to any client male or female.
Privacy - I will leave the room to allow you to undress and get onto the table. Once you are undressed, on the table, and under the sheet and blanket, I will knock to make sure you are ready, come back into the room, and begin the session. I generally work with some sort of soft music playing. I will check in with you about pressure, temperature, and general comfort, but please remember that only you can feel what is going on inside your own body, and that you should feel free to tell me if anything is at all painful or uncomfortable. I do my best work when I am quiet and focused, so you can expect me to remain fairly silent during sessions except to check in with you. When your session is over, I will again leave the room to allow you to get dressed. All sessions are completely confidential.
Note - Massage therapy is therapeutic in nature and in no way sexual. The massage will be terminated immediately without refund due to inappropriate sexual behavior.
~Cancellation Policy~
A 24-hour notification is required from all clients. If you are unable to meet this requirement, the total amount of the services scheduled will be charged in full for clients who "no-show" or fail to cancel their reservation within that 24-hour time period.
