I wanted to thank you again for all of your hard work getting the boys ready for the Boris Godunov performance. I heard so many compliments from the friends and other parents who attended the performance how great all the boys looked, sang, and behaved on the stage. It was great that they had a chance to get on the stage at the end with everyone else and see the full Opera House applauding - what an experience! I wanted to be there with them! I later learned that all of the opera singers, musicians, and the conductor thanked the boys with "Bravo!" - telling them they did a great job, which made the boys feel proud.

I want to thank you for a wonderful year. [My son] has had an amazing experience, and he has gained much more independence, maturity, and confidence in himself due to the boy choir. Vocally, of course, he has grown immensely.
Thank you so much for all you did for [my son] this year. This has been a great year with great concerts and wonderful expereinces for all of us.

Challenging choral music for treble voices is selected from a range of styles and eras. Our repertoire also includes symphonic and stage works, including Bach's 'St. Matthew Passion', Boito's 'Prologue to Mefistofele', Britten's 'Saint Nicolas' and 'Noye's Fludde', Mahler's 'Symphony No. 3' and 'Symphony No. 8', Mussorgsky's 'Boris Godunov', Orff's 'Carmina Burana', Puccini's 'Tosca', 'Turandot', and 'La Bohème', and Prokofiev's 'On Guard for Peace'.
We have sung with the National Symphony Orchestra, Folger Consort, Cathedral Choral Society, Choral Arts Society, U.S. Air Force Singing Sergeants, Washington Bach Consort, Mariinsky (Kirov) Opera, and University of Maryland Opera Studio.
Recent appearances include the Kennedy Center, the White House, the Vice President's House, D.A.R. Constitution Hall, Wolf Trap's Filene Center, and Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center. We have also sung the National Anthem at the University of Maryland's Comcast Center, Nationals Park in Washington D.C., and Oriole Park in Camden Yards, Baltimore.
Our participation in at least one festival is scheduled every year. Tours have taken us across the United States, as well as Canada and Romania. Tour costs are financed through group fundraising efforts, annual silent auction proceeds, donations, and individual family contributions.
We have earned top honors at music festivals in the United States and Canada, as well as a GRAMMY Award for Best Choral Performance with a recording of Britten's War Requiem with the Washington Chorus.
Auditions are open to boys
(ages 8-14, unchanged voices)
who love to sing.
