About Me

Hello and welcome to my website. I offer singing lessons and voice coaching to anyone who loves to sing or would love to sing. Whether you are a professional looking to maintain and improve your technique and expand your repertoire OR a complete beginner looking for proper training and guidance, I can help!My training is in Contemporary Music and Musical Theatre and I have worked professionally in Bands, Theatre, Television, Radio, Film, Studio, Production, Corporate and Commercials. I have 20 years teaching and coaching experience initially alongside my professional work and more exclusively in the last 10 years. I am currently head of Voice at BIMM (Bristol Institute of Modern Music). I have taught at many of the top Performance Schools. My classes are friendly and professional but above all - fun!

I've really loved having lessons with martin and my improvement hasbeen huge.He is a very caring person who always pushes me to the greatest of my abilities,is always positive and kind, and his style of teaching proves very successful whilst providing a lot of fun and laughs at the same time. I have had a number of singing teachers, both at school and privately, and Martin has been by far the best. He always teaches unique, original and challenging songs whilst helping improve technique and style. I recently made a CD with Martin and the technology he has is amazing and the final product was so professional, i would recommend it (and him) to anyone. I love Martin's lessons and always look forward to them all the time, he makes me feel confident and completely at ease when i'm singing. He is more than a teacher, he is a friend and someone i can trust. MumThe singing lessons Martin provides are fun and informative with him able to offer the opportunity to record your singing or backing tracks (something which many tacher do not) which allows you to carry on practicing and learning even after the session has ended. This has allowed me to learn the technique i require and keep my voice trained over longer periods than i used to be able to, with it often losing power in between lessons prior to this. Essentially it is your choice what you wish to learn and gain from singing lessons. I teach technique, repertoire, styles, performance, session skills, production skills and theory. Your lesson will be individually tailored to your voice needs.A one hour lesson includes any class music/lyrics/resources. You can also buy voucher certificates to give to a friend or family member as a present.Contact me for details and further information.

I use professional studio recording software and equipment to provide the best quality solution for your project.I can create a personalised CD of you singing/playing as a present, a professional demo or just for your own personal pleasure.This service is cheaper than the so called "experince days" you see advertised every where. I am based in Widmer End, near Amersham, Beaconsfield and High Wycombe. MAPI have a limited number of timeslots for private tuition and I tend to get booked up in advance, The majority of my students block book in advance to gaurantee their timeslot and to get a reduction.My times for private students are:Mondays 4.00pm - 8.00pmThursdays 10.00am - 8.00pmFridays 5.00pm - 8.00pmSaturdays 11.30 am - 4.30pmMy studio is in my house so it is in cosy and comforatble surroundings and not a corporate or clinical atmosphere.Use the contact form here on the right to get in touch.
