St Marys Strikers is an academy designed for children 4 to 9 years. Primarily focusing on the children having fun while participating in football and developing their motor skills, speed, agility, balance, coordination, communication skills, social skills and many other areas of learning and development. The session includes a range of fun and stimulating games and drills which incorporate and promote the skills needed to participate within football and a team environment. Catering for children of all technical abilities.

The academy is coached and coordinated by myself, Martin Collins. I have over 6 years of coaching experience working with children from 3 years old up to Senior level. I hold a Diploma in Sport and Recreation, National Academy Coaching Licence (NZ/Oceania Football), Advanced Junior Club Coaching Certificate (NZ/Oceania Football) and I am currently finishing my Bachelor in Teaching. This academy is funded and supported by the St Marys Family Centre and the Mount Maunganui Anglican Parish.
